This site will be of interest to all mental health professionals who work in the area of supervision such as, social workers, outreach workers, teachers, probation workers, psychotherapists, counsellors etc.
It will be of interest to people who are coming across “supervision” for the first time, people who wish to develop their interest in “supervision” or the experienced professional who wishes to refresh their supervision skills and knowledge.
How will this site grow?
Psychotherapy Supervision.net will be constantly evolving and we will be adding more information, and new services to the site as well as updated blogs and articles.
We will also be including videos of supervision and discussions with experienced supervisors, both in the video and audio format.
About Bob Cooke
The creator of this site is Bob Cooke TSTA who is an experienced Psychotherapist, Trainer, Educator and Supervisor.
Bob has been working in the area of Supervision for the last 30 years and in more recent times has been teaching Supervision, not only in the UK but also in Australia and Slovenia.
His Psychotherapy and Supervision home in the UK is The Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy.
He is the founder of The Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy – 1988 and has been training and teaching people to be professional Psychotherapists and Supervisors for most of this time.
He has developed a great passion and for the world of Psychotherapy and Supervision and has created a Supervision Department within the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy.
Bob has been offering Supervision Courses since 1998, and his popular five day Certificate in Supervision has been running three times a year since the inception of the Supervision Department in 1998.
The Supervision Department has now expanded to not only include more professional supervisors at The Manchester Institute but also to run more varied Supervision Courses.
